HRV Biofeedback Tutor Guide

Overview

HRV Biofeedback Tutor completely covers BCIA’s 16-hour HRV Biofeedback Certification Blueprint. You will take exams on ClassMarker to test your mastery. When you pass each tutorial’s exams, contact us for your certificate.

We have provided you with a universal username and password to open all BioSource Software tutorials and ClassMarker exams for your convenience. Our Mentor GPT supports this course to help you learn.

How To Start HRV Biofeedback Tutor

1. Please click on HRV Biofeedback Tutor to open it in your browser. Enter your username and password when requested. Firefox and Safari are currently the most compatible browsers for displaying our videos. If you prefer Chrome, uncheck “use hardware acceleration when available” in Advanced Settings.

2. Enter the username and password we sent you for both tutorials. You will use the same credentials to take exams on ClassMarker.

3. See the opening screen.

Search Units By Using Find

Your browser’s search function (CTRL+F) will allow you to look up key terms. For example, you could look up the vagus nerve in our ANS anatomy unit. You can use the up or down arrows to find the instance of the mu rhythm you want.

Log Into ClassMarker

Please enter the username and password we emailed you. Copy and paste your credentials into ClassMarker and click on the black Login button. Do not click on the orange Register Free button.

How to Take Exams

If you are enrolled in one product (Group), click on the Go To Group button.

If you are enrolled in several products, select the one you want and then click on Go to Selected Group.

When you select HRV Biofeedback Tutor, ClassMarker will show you available exams and your percentage, scores, and elapsed time on exams you have completed.

Open an exam by clicking on the Start button. You may save any exam and finish later and retake exams as often as possible.

How to Receive Exam Feedback

When you submit your answers, you will receive detailed feedback for each question. ClassMarker will also email you a list of your missed questions.

How to Return to the Exam Menu

Click on Group Tests at the left top of the screen

From here you may retake an exam or start a new one.

How to Receive Your Certificate of Exam Completion

If you have purchased our Certificate of Exam Completion, alone or as part of a Package, you may receive 16 didactic or continuing education hours.

When you have completed the 17 required exams (Psychophysiology, Stress, Relaxation, Artifacting, and Nonlinear Measurements are optional) and filed with BCIA, please contact us at fred@biosourcesoftware.com so that we may issue a certificate of exam completion for you to submit to BCIA.
