Neurofeedback Tutor for Exam Review Guide

Overview

We created Neurofeedback Tutor for Exam Review to reinforce your didactic course. This product does not provide didactic or continuing education.

We have divided Neurofeedback Tutor for Exam Review into two multimedia tutorials: An Introduction and Assessment and Training. We recommend that you start with Neurofeedback Tutor: An Introduction. Together, they completely cover BCIA’s 36-hour Neurofeedback Certification Blueprint. You will take exams on ClassMarker to test your mastery.

We have provided you with a universal username and password to open all purchased BioSource Software tutorials and ClassMarker exams for your convenience.

How To Start Neurofeedback Tutor: An Introduction

1. Please click on Neurofeedback Tutor: An Introduction to open it in your browser. Enter your username and password when requested. Firefox and Safari are currently the most compatible browsers for displaying our videos. If you prefer Chrome, uncheck “use hardware acceleration when available” in Advanced Settings.

2. Enter the username and password we sent you for both tutorials. You will use the same credentials to take exams on ClassMarker.

3. See the opening screen.

Select a Tutorial

Click on one of 14 tutorials on our menu to open it in your browser. They are located in Orientation (Definition, History, Learning, Assumptions), Neurobiology (Neurophysiology, Neuroanatomy, Psychopharmacology), Instrumentation (Terms, Signal Acquisition, Signal Processing, Aseptic Techniques, Demonstration), Research (Efficacy Criteria, Key Studies), and Ethics.

Try Out the Links

Neurofeedback Tutor: An Introduction has links to internet videos in the body of each unit and journal article abstracts or full-text articles in the Reference section. Just click on them to review their content.

Search Units By Using Find

Your browser’s search function (CTRL+F) will allow you to look up key terms. For example, you could look up the mu rhythm in our EEG Assessment unit. You can use the up or down arrows to find the instance of the mu rhythm you want.

1. Please click on Neurofeedback Tutor: Assessment and Training to open it in your browser. Enter your username and password when requested.

2. Enter the username and password we sent you for both tutorials. You will use the same credentials to take exams on ClassMarker.

3. See the opening screen.

Select a Tutorial

Click on one of 15 tutorials on our menu to open it in your browser. They are located in Assessment (Intake, EEG, Ongoing, Demonstration), Treatment Protocols (Early Protocols, Steps, Demonstration, Trends, Ethics), and Treatment Implementation (Client Preparation, Relationship, Procedures, Alpha-Theta, Remote, Demonstration).

Log Into ClassMarker

Please enter the username and password we emailed you. Copy and paste your credentials into ClassMarker and click on the black Login button. Do not click on the orange Register Free button.

How to Take Exams

If you are enrolled in more than one product (Group), select the set of exams you want using the My Groups tab by clicking on the desired Go To Group button.

When you select one of the Neurofeedback Tutor for Exam Review products, ClassMarker will show you available exams and your percentage, scores, and elapsed time on exams you have completed.

Open an exam by clicking on the Start button. You may save any exam and finish later and retake exams as often as possible.

How to Receive Exam Feedback

When you submit your answers, you will receive detailed feedback for each question. ClassMarker will also email you a list of your missed questions.

How to Return to the Exam Menu

Click on Group Tests at the left top of the screen.

From here, you may retake an exam or start a new one.
