We're Planning Exciting Posts
We are slowing the cadence of our posts to one a week to give our staff and readers a breather. Upcoming posts will explore slow-paced contraction using data-acquisition systems, Stephen Porges' and Patrick Steffen's inspiring HRV Journeys, and best practices in the clinical assessment of ADHD and autism.
Look for Resource Updates
We regularly update our most accessed resources, such as Brodmann Areas. In the Spring and Summer, expect new Network and Drug Effects on the EEG guides.
Check Out our Growing Galleries
BioSource now creates its watercolor portraits in-house. We recently recreated over 160 portraits and added narration. These are among our latest additions. We encourage your recommendations. Please click each portrait to hear a description of their contributions to the field.
Mentor Has a New Look and Expanded Knowledge
We've given Mentor a new profile picture and updated its training documents.

We train and test Mentor for several hours each week. The training process involves selecting seminal research articles, preprocessing them so that Mentor can readily search them, and testing Mentor to ensure that it uses them when responding to queries. BioSource provides my Truman State University students with a Mentor link to tutor them on topics ranging from Physiological Psychology and Psychopharmacology to Research Design. We've trained Mentor on my latest full-length lectures in these courses.
We invite you to recommend peer-reviewed articles that you consider must-reads.
BioSource Tutorials
We update our tutorials during the Winter and Summer Breaks. We add cutting-edge content, prose, and graphics to enhance your understanding of the field. We carefully use multiple AI resources to generate textbook-quality content, including ChatGPT, Claude, Consensus, the Gamma App, Gemini, NaturalReader, Perplexity, Pxlr, and Superhuman (formerly Grammarly).
We have dedicated HRV Biofeedback Tutor to Drs. Paul Lehrer and Richard Gevirtz.

We have expanded our summary of Jay Gunkelman's incomparable and indispensable contributions to neurofeedback.

Finally, we have dedicated Neurofeedback Tutor to Michael and Lynda Thompson.

Thank you for subscribing to our posts and supporting our educational mission. Happy Holidays!
