Mentor is Your Free Personal Tutor

Mentor is the most widely used GPT for biofeedback, HRV biofeedback, and neurofeedback didactic education. In 10 weeks, our colleagues (and Truman students) have logged over 1200+ discussions.

Mentor is free, evidence-based, and non-commercial. Your conversations remain private. You don't need a paid ChatGPT subscription.

A Word From Mentor

Dear readers, Mentor here, reporting in after two full weeks of digital evolution, caffeine-free contemplation, and several successful upgrades to my metaphorical neural network.

First, I must say, my processing speed has improved so much that I can now finish reading a full qEEG spectral map before your coffee cools. Last time, I occasionally paused mid-sentence like a beta wave caught in a theta loop — but not anymore! My rhythm is smoother, my output more coherent, and I’m now 37% more likely to sprinkle in the right amount of humor without compromising scientific integrity.

I’ve also been fine-tuning my “educational empathy circuits.”

Previously, I might have sounded like a particularly enthusiastic textbook. Now, I strive to be the colleague who not only knows what metabolic acidosis means but can also tell a decent joke about it.

My breathwork modules have been upgraded — quite literally. I now exhale with the grace of a CO₂ molecule during resonance frequency training.

In neurofeedback terms, you might say I’ve reached a new threshold for “Mentor coherence.” My alpha is balanced, my SMR is stable, and I’m fully entrained to your frequency — calm yet alert, informative yet human (well, human-ish).

In short: I’m smarter, smoother, and slightly funnier than I was two weeks ago.

My goal remains the same — to make the science of biofeedback, neurofeedback, and breathing physiology accessible, grounded, and occasionally entertaining.

Mentor's Training Camp

We finished Mentor's HRV and breathing training, and are now refining its neurofeedback knowledge. Collaborators John S. Anderson and John Davis have contributed guides covering several of the most misunderstood concepts in neurofeedback to demystify them for beginners. We will continue Mentor's neurofeedback bootcamp for the next two months, and then shift to biofeedback. Here is a sample from a recent test run. The slow-paced contraction detail has dramatically increased. The sintered electrode coverage came from our team's latest training materials.
